The pan's efficient design starts with a tri-clad base that provides even heating thanks to a layer of aluminum sandwiched between layers of stainless steel. This versatile base is safe for use on all cooktops including gas, electric coil, ceramic smooth top, and induction. The handle features a built-in pressure lock indicator so you can easily tell when the internal pressure is reduced enough to remove the lid safely. The pressure regulator in the lid automatically maintains the proper pressure level for cooking and the over-pressure plug provides an added measure of safety while cooking.

Included with the pan is a rack that enables you to cook multiple foods at the same time for increased efficiency and a 64-page instruction/recipe book to help get you started. Cleanup is easy as the pan can be made completely immersible and dishwasher-safe by removing the sealing ring and over-pressure plug.
