Inside has no rivets for food to get clogged in. Top fits upside-down so you can keep the top on the pot and put another pot on top.

There are no indents where the handles are. The steel is thick and distributes heat evenly as well as holds heat. The lip is not rolled-over steel where food can get stuck it is just a nice thick lip that is also easy to clean. A high quality pot that is perfect. It does have an aluminum core. But the steel is so thick it's not an issue at all. Also it's made in the USA which is an added bonus for me.
